Seriously, Taffie? The Answer Was Apparently Me. 😂

I was sitting here watching football tonight when I remembered a conversation I had with my husband years ago.

For purposes of this story, we’ll call his first wife Peach. 🍑😂

Me: “Did you and Peach ever go to marriage counseling? You know… to try and work things out?”

Husband: “Yes.”

Me: “Did it work?”

Husband: “…What do you think?”

And there was a pause.

Because apparently my brain needed a moment to process the fact that I AM HIS SECOND WIFE.

🤣🤣🤣

We laughed SO hard.

I don’t know what answer I was expecting.

“Yes, Taffie. It worked beautifully. That’s why I’m sitting here married to you.”

Sometimes I ask really thoughtful questions.

Other times…

the answer is literally sitting right in front of me.
